Pneumoconiosis 3 : A prescribed disease of the lungs caused by exposure to inhaled dust, commonly found in mineworkers but many other occupational sources are listed. It is a generic description given to a range of diseases which include asbestosis, silicosis and coalworkers pneumoconiosis. Also reportable under RIDDOR.
