RCC 4

RCC 4 : Radio Controlled Clock. Popularly known as Atomic Clock. An RCC has a built in receiver that automatically tunes to the Atomic Clock of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST, Looked it up elsewhere in the source) at Fort Collins, Colorado. RCCs are accurate to within ten billionths of a second and never need resetting. RCCs generally synchronize on a nightly basis, and self adjust to daylight savings time across the 48 states. While RCCs keep accurate time anywhere, they receive the NIST signal only in the continental United States. Some RCCs can tune to government sponsored radio signals in Japan and certain European countries
