Road Accident 05 : Collision Type: (1) Angle Collision: Collision between two moving vehicles. First vehicle has a side collision point, other vehicle has a frontal collision point (Spain 1993 onwards, Britain, Italy, IE). Value included in another value: lateral collision. (2) Chain Collision: Collision between more than two moving vehicles (Belgium, Spain, France). First vehicle has a rear collision point, other vehicle has a frontal collision point (Spain, France). Value included in another value: chain or rear collision. (3) Chain or Rear Collision: Collision between two or more vehicles travelling in the same direction on the same road. First vehicle has a rear collision point, other vehicle has a frontal collision point (Spain, France, Britain, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal). (4) Collision With Animal: Collision between vehicle and animal. (5) Collision With Obstacle: Collision between moving vehicle and obstacle. On or off the road. Fixed or moving obstacle. Includes trees, posts, crash barriers. (6) Collision With Parked Vehicle: Collision between moving vehicle and parked vehicle. Includes vehicle moving off (Denmark). (7) Collision With Pedestrian: Collision between moving vehicle and pedestrian. (8) Frontal Collision: Collision between two vehicles travelling in the opposite direction on the same road. Both vehicles have a frontal collision point. (9) Lateral Collision: Includes angle collision, side by side collision. First vehicle has a side collision point, other vehicle has a frontal or side collision point (Belgium, Spain, France, Britain, Italy, Ireland, Portugal). (10) Rear Collision: Collision between two vehicles travelling in the same direction on the same road. First vehicle has a rear collision point, other vehicle has a frontal collision point (Spain, France). Value included in another value: chain or rear collision. (11) Side By Side Collision: Collision between two vehicles, where both vehicles have a side collision point (Spain from 1993 onwards, Britain, Italy).
