Scale 11
Scale 11 : The ratio of the distance in a map and to the measured distance in the real world. Indicated as ratio digit m with 1: scale digit, e.g. 1: 1.000. The smaller m the bigger the scale; the bigger m the smaller the scale. The bigger the scale, the bigger the objects are displayed on the chart. Following terms are customary: Macro scale = large scale = areas from 1: 1.000 to 1: 25.000. Meso scale = middle scale = areas from 1.25.000 to 1: 100.000. Micro scale = small scale = areas bigger than 1: 100.000
