Uncertainty 04 : A limited knowledge of the agreement between data, information, or outcomes relative to an unknown truth. The uncertainty of a measurement is the parameter associated with the result of a measurement that characterizes the dispersion of the values that could reasonably be attributed to the measurand (the quantity being measured).
