Scrophularia Nodosa - Also called Scrofula Plant. Has anodyne and diuretic properties. Used mainly for inflammations, sprains, swellings, wounds and diseased parts, especially in scrofulous sores and gangrene. The leaves are bitter, acrid and nauseating, producing purging and vomiting if chewed
