Oestrus
Oestrus : Menstrual cycle is the monthly female cycle during which the womb (uterus) is prepared for the implantation of a fertilised egg cell. If fertilisation does not occur, the inside lining of the uterus is shed, resulting in the loss of blood. In animals the period during which the female is receptive to the male animal is termed oestrus
