Personal Monitoring 1
Personal Monitoring 1 : A technique used to determine an individual's personal exposure to a hazard, such as a hazardous substance, radiation or noise. This is usually achieved by using a personal sampling device worn on the person. The monitoring of hazardous chemicals is done at the mouth. The monitoring of noise is done at the ears.
