Hydroxybenzenes. A group of aromatic compounds having the hydroxyl group directly attached to the benzene nucleus. See: Coal Tar Phenols. High boiling phenols are a mixture of phenols, mainly monohydric, and yielding at least 80% of distillate above 220ºC and at least 5% of distillate above 250ºC
