Pitot Tube 02 :
(n.) Production Testing. A measuring device for determining the gas-flow rate. It is composed of a 1/8-inch tube inserted horizontally along the axis of the gas flowline. The pressure at the end of the tube is compared with the static pressure to determine the final gas flow rate within the flow line. See: Annubar, Flowline, Static Pressure
