Planning Section (MACS) 02 : (1) The Multiagency Coordination Center (MACC/EOC) section that supervises and coordinates planning support activities for MACC emergency operations. Planning support includes MACC action, contingency, long-range and demobilization planning, MACC access to expert information, and coordination of information processing activities across the MACC. Any planning assistance directly to the IMT is provided by the MACC Operations Section. (2) The Joint Field Office (JFO) section that collects, evaluates, disseminates, and uses information regarding the threat or incident and the status of Federal resources. The Planning Section prepares and documents Federal support actions and develops unified action, contingency, long-term, and other plans. (NRF 1/08)
