Platform 16
Platform 16 : construction Wood frame construction in which the first floor is built as a platform, i. e. , the flooring is laid on the joists, and the frame for the first floor walls is erected on the first floor. The second story joists are then placed, the second story subfloor is laid, and the second floor walls are erected on the second story subfloor.
