Port of Entry 4 : A port at which foreign goods are re-admitted into the receiving country . In the USA, any place designated by act of U.S. Congress, executive order of the President of the United States or order of the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, at which a U.S. Customs officer is assigned with authority to accept entries of merchandise, to collect duties and to enforce the various provisions of the U.S. Customs laws
