Port Security Grant Program (PSG) 1 :
"PSG funds owners and operators of ports, terminals, as well as port authorities and state and local agencies that provide a layered approach, U.S. inspected passenger vessels and ferries, as well as port authorities and State and local agencies to improve security for operators and passengers through physical security enhancements. The Program strives to create a sustainable, risk-based effort for the protection of critical infrastructure from any incident that would cause major disruption to commerce and significant loss of life".
