PRENFLO Pressurized Entrained-Flow :
A coal gasification process using an entrainedflow gasifier. A mixture of coal dust and oxygen is 2,0000C and 25 atm. It is ?fed horizontally into a gasifier operating at similar to the Koppers-Totzek process, but differs from it mainly in the use of elevated pressure. The solid waste is mostly molten and is collected as a granular slag in a water-bath beneath the gasifier; it can be used as a filler in the construction industry. The process can be used to produce syngas, but the main application forseen is as a part of a combined- cycle electric power plant
