Preplanned Response Options (PRO)
Preplanned Response Options (PRO) : Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) reactions which have been preplanned, analyzed, and preapproved, for specific ballistic missile threats. The PRO, equivalent to an operations plan, consist of a number of Defense Employment Options (DEO) which provide force employment objectives to Component forces based upon the world situation, national objectives/guidance, BMD asset status, and the intent of the threat. PRO are automatically processed with real-time human oversight and control when USCINCSPACE directs execution
