Preproduction Test : This is a test of design-qualified hardware that is produced using production tooling and processes which will be used to produce the operational hardware. No production hardware should be accepted prior to satisfactory completion of this test. Test objectives include: gaining confidence that production hardware is going to work; that it will be reliable; that it can be maintained and supported by the user; and that it is not overdesigned
