Pressure Wave 1
Pressure Wave 1 : A short-period oscillation of pressure such as that associated with the propagation of sound through the atmosphere; a type of longitudinal wave. They are usually recorded on sensitive microbarographs capable of measuring pressure changes of amounts down to Qf~~4 mb. Typical values for the period and wave length of pressure waves are i to 5 seconds and 100 m to 1500 m, respectively
