Projection 2
Projection 2 : A method mappint which the curved surface of the earth on a flat surface by geometrical projection. This is done by a mathematically defined transformation instruction, e.g. of the earth's graticule of lines of longitude and latitude onto a plane coordinate system. (see also map projection)
