Pulsed Reactor : Type of research reactor used to produce short, intensive power and radiation impacts. The neutron flux density in such a pulse is much higher than could be achieved in the stationary state. Example: FRMZ, research reactor of the university of Mainz, type TRIGA-Mark-II; pulse power 250 MW, permanent power 0.1 MW
