Pumper 01
Pumper 01 : (Fire Pr) A fire department pumping engine equipped with a 500 =pm or larger pump, hose, ladders, and other firefighting gear. Note: Fire department pumpers are generally available in five sizes, according to their water discharge ratings: 500, 750, 1000, 1250, and 1500 gpm. A Class A pumper is capable of discharging its rated capacity at 150 psi, as compared to a Class B pumper, which produces its rated capacity at 120 psi. Class B pumpers are considered obsolete. Class A pumpers must be capable of delivering 70% of their rated capacity at 200 psi and 50% at 250 psi
