Quality Circle


Quality Circle : A problem-solving technique used in the workplace initially concerned with quality control but progressively embracing other matters such as productivity and improved production methods, costs and safety. Quality circles tend to focus on the need to continuously improve that part of the production process for which members of a specific circle are responsible. Quality circles are usually established on a permanent basis and consist of managers and supervisors together with the relevant work group. Recommendations are submitted to management and circle members assist in implementing them once accepted by management
