Athlon : (ICT) Launched in 1999, this is the trade name given to a very popular and powerful range of microprocessors. The trade name is owned by AMD or Advanced Micro Devices. They are the equivalent of the Intel Pentium processors and were used as the CPU within many modern home computers.
