Radiogenic Heat Production
Radiogenic Heat Production : The rate of heat generated in a unit volume of rock by spontaneous radioactive decay of natural unstable isotopes in the rock. The primary heat producing isotopes in the Earth are 232Th, 238U, 40K, and 235U. See: Morgan (2002)
