Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program (REPP) 1 :

"The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) established the REP Program to ensure the public health and safety of citizens living around commercial nuclear power plants by protecting them in the event of a nuclear power station accident and informing and educating the public about radiological emergency preparedness. It helped contribute to the HSEEP methodology". (FEMA, Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program, 2008)
