Ray Tracing
Ray Tracing : A procedure used in the graphical determination of the path followed by a single ray of radiant energy as it travels through media of varying index of refraction. Its defining equation is: k = -sin 6n where k is the curvature of the ray, Vn the gradient of the index of refraction n, and the angle between the initial orientation of the ray and the vector giving the direction of Vn.
