Risk Assessment, Workplace 5

Risk Assessment, Workplace 5 : What if the Workplace is Shared? If you share a workplace with another employer, or a self-employed person, you will both need to: (a) tell each other about the specific risks in your business that may affect the other employer; and (b) cooperate and coordinate with each other to control the safety and health risks. Telling the other employers and self-employed people present in any particular workplace about the risks to which your work could expose them, and what risk control measures you are taking, is essential. You must also think about the risks to your own workforce from those who share your workplace. Where workers from different enterprises work in the same workplace, those assigned to carry out the risk assessments from each employer will need to share information about the risks and the measures needed to tackle these risks
