Risk 010 : (a) The probability of an undesired result or event such as: theft, loss, damage, or injury will occur. Exposure to the change of loss, damage, or injury. (b) The combination of the probability of an incident releasing radioactive and/or hazardous materials and the consequences of the release on the public and the environment which, taken over all events relating to system operation, provides a meaningful picture of the adverse impact of the operation. (Environment, Safety and Health) (Internal Controls) An existing characteristic that carries a probability of waste, loss, mismanagement, unauthorized use, or misappropriation due to the nature of an activity itself (e.g., payment of entitlements, handling sensitive or valuable material, and sales to the public). Major risks are identified in the vulnerability assessment process. مخاطرة (وجمعها مخاطرات) 10: (أ) احتمال حدوث نتيجة غير مرغوب فيها أو حدث مثل: السرقة، الفقدان، التلف، أو الإصابة. التعرض لتغير الفقد أو التلف أو الإصابة. (ب) الجمع بين احتمال إطلاق حادث مواد مشعة و/أو خطرة وعواقب الإطلاق على الجمهور والبيئة، مما يعطي صورة مفيدة عن الأثر السلبي للعملية، على جميع الأحداث المتصلة بتشغيل النظام. (البيئة والسلامة والصحة) (الضوابط الداخلية) خاصية موجودة تنطوي على احتمال الهدر أو الخسارة أو سوء الإدارة أو الاستخدام غير المصرح به أو التملك غير المشروع بسبب طبيعة النشاط نفسه (مثل دفع المستحقات، والتعامل مع المواد الحساسة أو القيمة، والمبيعات للجمهور). وتحدد المخاطر الرئيسية في عملية تقييم التأثر. وتحدد المخاطر المفصلة في الاستعراض المختصر للإدارة/الرقابة الداخلية وعمليات استعراض الإدارة/الرقابة الداخلية.
