Risk Perception 4 : Risk as seen by individuals or societal groups. Risk perception cannot be reduced to a single parameter of a particular aspect of risk, such as the product of the probabilities and consequences of any event. Risk perception is inherently multi-dimensional and personal, with a particular risk or hazard meaning different things to different people, and different things in different contexts
