Safety Factor 07 : The number of times below the harmful range at which the public exposure limit is set . A set safety factor of 50 means that a person can be exposed to 50 times that amount before there is an reasonable expectation of hazard. Use of safety factors is not the same thing as minimising unnecessary exposure
