Saturation Flow
Saturation Flow : (1) The flow past a point on a carriageway which would be obtained if there was a continuous queue of vehicles waiting upstream of that point. (2) The rate of flow of vehicles across a STOP line at a signalized approach during the effective green time if there was a continuous queue of vehicles waiting to move during that time, and usually expressed as vehicles per hour of green
