(n.) Enhanced Oil Recovery. A preliminary assessment of the suitability of a reservoir for a particular process or development methodology. The assessment compares the reservoir characteristics to a number of screening criteria. The criteria are developed by studying the reservoir characteristics of similar past projects and identifying the ones that influenced success or failure of the process or methodology, or are consistently present where the process or methodology succeeded or failed
