(n.) Well Completions. A type of production packer that incorporates a sealbore that accepts a seal assembly fitted to the bottom of the production tubing. The sealbore packer is often set on wireline to enable accurate depth correlation. For applications in which a large tubing movement is anticipated, as may be due to thermal expansion, the sealbore packer and seal assembly function as a slip joint.
