Sensitivity Analysis 11 : Process to determine how outputs of a methodology differ in response to variation ofthe inputs or conditions. Sample Usage: The sensitivity analysis showed that the population variable had the largest effect on the output of the model. Annotation: (1) When a factor considered in a risk assessment has uncertainty, sensitivity analysis examines the effect that the uncertainty has on the results. (2) A sensitivity analysis can be used to examine how individual variables can affect the outputs of risk assessment methodologies.
