Shoreline Response Centre (SRC) 4 : A Shoreline Response Centre is the multi-agency Emergency Centre that would be set-up in the event of a major oil-spill at sea. In the event of NSC being requested to set-up such a centre the New Council Chamber is the only suitable location in the short-term. A SRC will operate for a period of months therefore, at an early stage, alternative accommodation should be identified and fitted out
