Short-Term Exposure Value (STEV)


Short-Term Exposure Value (STEV) : The maximum airborne concentration of a chemical, biological or physical agent to which workers may be exposed from time to time, provided that the exposure is for not more than 15 minutes, is not more often than four times in a work day, and at least 60 minutes have elapsed from the time of the last exposure.
