Social Compact : A coming together of the social partners to address critical issues of national, social and industrial relations significance, resulting in the drawing up of an agreement or protocol . This document, in essence, defines their expected levels of conduct during the life of the agreement and also enunciates the various measures and actions to be taken to effectively deal with the issues
