Social Networking Site : (ICT) A new type of web site has arrived on the Internet only recently, namely the 'Social Networking' sites. Social Networking sites offer a free, personal page for you to describe your interests, a list of friends that are also on the site, favourite music, recent photographs, what's happening and so on. The idea is for people to share their pages so that they can share news, views and offline events. Example social networking sites include Facebook, MySpace and Bebo. Now that social sites are becoming common, others are springing up that try to cater for specialist interests such as a pure business networking site or people that share common environmental interests
