Social Policy Protocol
Social Policy Protocol : Adopted by the European Council in December 1991 at Maastricht, the Protocol was annexed to the Treaty on European Union and marked further progress on the European Social Charter (1989). With the Social Policy Agreement now incorporated in the EC Treaty by the Treaty of Amsterdam, the Social Policy Protocol has been abrogated. See: Social policy; Social Policy Agreement
