Solder 1


Solder 1 :

(Metall) An alloy that is fused to join metal surfaces together. Note: The most commonly used solder is one containing lead and tin. Silver solder may contain cadmium. Zinc chloride and fluorides are commonly used as fluxes to clean the surfaces to be joined. Soldering takes place at temperatures up to 8000F; above this temperature the process is called brazing.
