Sphere - 20-Litre :
The 20-litre sphere is used to determine such explosion characteristics of flammable dust-air mixtures as maximum explosion overpressure, maximum rate of pressure rise or dust explosion constant Kst and lower explosion limit. The explosion vessel consists of a spherical space of 20 litres, capable to withstand a maximum static overpressure of 40 bar. The vessel is operated at room temperature. To remove the heat of the explosion a water-jacket is provided
