SPP 5 : Service Performance Plan: Under the Local Government Act 1999 Local Authorities are required to continually improve the way in which they deliver their services, with regard to economy, efficiency and effectiveness. Each year Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority (KMFRA) publishes its plans for the coming year, detailing what the Authority plans to do to help deliver improved services to the public. It sets these out in a document called the Service Performance Plan (SPP). The plan also includes details of our performance for the previous year against national and local targets and performance indicators, along with targets for the coming three years
