Survivor Reception Centres 5 :
(SRC): Following a major incident, survivors may be collected together in a Survivor Reception Centre. It is likely that the seriously injured will have been taken directly to hospital but some "walking injured" may be present. It is likely that the SRC will only be required for a few hours until survivors can be sent home and/or re-united with friends and relatives. Friends and relatives reception centre (FRRC) Following a major incident friends and relatives of casualties may move to the area where the incident occurred or to a location where information may be made available to them. It is likely that this will be co-ordinated by the Police but they will require a major input from ASS&H together with the Faith Community and Voluntary Agencies.
