Swift 1 : A process for making monoammonium phosphate from liquid ammonia and phosphoric acid. The reactants are mixed with a special nozzle. The slurry product from the neutralization is injected into the top of a heated tower; water flashes off as the product falls and the powdered product collects at the base of the column.
