Telematics : (ICT) (GEN, TEL, W20) is the integrated use of telecommunications and informatics, also known as ICT (Information and Communications Technology). It can also be defined as the technology of sending, receiving and storing information via telecommunication devices in conjunction with effecting control on remote objects. Telematics includes Global Positioning System technology integrated with computers and mobile communications technology in automotive navigation systems too
