Terrorism Liaison Officer Program (DHS & DOJ) :
Both the Intelligence Liaison Officers Program and Terrorism Liaison Program demonstrate the effectiveness of this relationship [DHS & DOJ]. Each program is designed to ensure the information contained within fusion centers reaches the street level police officer and firefighter, and just as important, provides them with a pathway for providing information back to the center and through it to the federal government. These programs are administered jointly by, and the training conducted with participation of, grant and technical experts from both Departments.
