Thermo luminescence Dosimetry
Thermo luminescence Dosimetry : Devices for measuring electromagnetic radiation. They contain crystals that modify under the effect of radiation; after exposure the tiny crystals are heated and interpreted for radiation exposure. Emitted light during crystal heating is directly proportional to exposure. Unlike film badges they can be reused. They are more sensitive to a wide range of radiation exposures than film.
