Tornado 20
Tornado 20 : Tornados A tornado is a rotating column of air (vortex) that emerges out of the base of a cumulonimbus cloud and has contact to the Earth's surface. Typically it forms during a severe convective storm in so-called supercells and is often visible as a funnel-shaped cloud. Tornadoes are usually short-lived, lasting on average no more than 10 minutes. They can generate wind speeds above 400 km/h and are considered the most destructive weather phenomenon. The intensity of tornadoes is assessed using the Enhanced Fujita Scale. Other names for this weather phenomenon are twister, waterspout (over open water)
