Total Pressure 2 : Also called: stagnation pressure: The sum of the static pressure and the dynamic pressure when these concepts are applicable. Since this is the pressure at the stagnation point of a streamline, it is measured by an ideal Pitot tube directed exactiy upstream. The total pressure satisfies the hydrostatic equation
