Transition Point : (Phys) (1) A point at which a system changes phase, including changes from one solid phase into another. (2) Broadly, the temperature at which a liquid becomes a vapor (boiling point), a solid becomes a gas (sublimation point), or a solid becomes a liquid (melting point)
